Bethel Grove Bible Church is committed to exalting the living God by creating a climate conducive to growth toward maturity in Christ so that all are motivated to service both in the church and in the world to the glory of God.

Committed to exalting the living God

Everyone has a worldview, a lens through which we interpret all of life. BG is committed to seeing life through a theistic lens. Our purpose is to live for God, making worship a way of life, something we share together on Sundays and live 24/7.

A climate conducive to growth

Plants thrive under certain conditions. BG is planted in the soil of God's revelation in the Bible, Jesus Christ, and creation. The climate here is characterized by an abundance of grace, truth, forgiveness, and love.

Toward maturity in Christ

Christ living in the believer by the Holy Spirit, brings about big changes. We are forgiven. We are set free from sin. We are headed in a whole new direction. God is bringing about an ever-increasing spiritual maturity that will only be complete when we are with Christ. The process of sanctification has begun and we move toward maturity through faith and obedience.

Motivated to service

We are prompted by God's love for us and our love for Him to serve others in our homes, neighborhoods, dorms, classrooms, places of employment, etc. Jesus modeled the life of a servant and it is our mission to follow Him wherever He leads.

Both in the church and in the world

Our service begins with loving one another in the community of faith, but extends beyond ethnic, cultural, economic, geographical and religious boundaries to serve, both locally and globally.

To the glory of God

The end objective for all of creation is to glorify and honor God. Being made in His image, we are transformed to live lives that reflect His glory.
