David M. Jones Jr.

Dave came to Bethel Grove from Massachusetts in 1988 to serve BG as Associate Pastor. In 2005, he was called by the congregation to use his gifts as Senior Pastor. Dave is a graduate of Messiah College, Wheaton College Graduate School, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and completed a Doctor of Ministry at Westminster Seminary in May of 2011. He is married to Joyce, and has a married son, Matthew and daughter-in-law Ashley, who live in Philadelphia.

Eric Hause
Youth Pastor (eric@bg.org)

Eric Hause, San Diego native, came to Bethel Grove via Denver Seminary in 2001. Eric disciples teens at BG through Sunday School, middle and high school youth groups, missions trips, service projects and through one-on-one relationships. In addition, Eric brings musical gifts and technical skills that are a blessing to the the church office and other BG gatherings. Eric is married to Mary and has a daughter Mattie.

Dee Dee Smith
Administrative Assistant (bg@bg.org)

Dee Dee grew up in nearby Watkins Glen and came to Bethel Grove via Cornell in 2000. Her boundless energy keeps the church office running smoothly, even on the busiest days. Dee Dee excels at matching up resources with needs, and helping newcomers become a part of the life of the church. Dee Dee is married to Michael, and has a step-daughter, Elizabeth.

Carla Smith
Administrative Assistant, Children's Ministry (promiseland@bg.org)

Carla moved to Ithaca with her family in 2007 from Buffalo, NY. She comes to Bethel Grove with a broad range of work experience including volunteering with Promiseland and leadership with MOPS. Carla adores children, possesses good administrative skills, and has an eye for detail. She is married to Steve and they have 3 young children Hailey, Hannah and Tyler.

Amy Bach
Promiseland Coordinator (amy@bg.org)

Amy grew up in Vestal, NY and moved to Ithaca in 1983 to continue her career in Special Education.  She graduated from Bloomsburg University, PA with a BA in education and later received her MA in education at SUNY Binghamton.  Amy brings skills of teaching, leadership and communication to BG.  She looks forward to sharing her gifts of encouragement, listening, organization and compassion with the children and families she works with.  Amy is married to Randy and they have two teen-aged sons, Christopher and Nathan. Amy enjoys walking her dog, cross-country skiing and reading books for her book club.

Barb Roman
Bookeeper (barb@bg.org)

Barb has been managing the church finances at Bethel Grove since 2005. She quietly stays behind the scenes doing the payroll, paying bills, and keeping BG functioning smoothly in the most practical of ways. Barb is married to Rich and they are the parents of three grown sons and have two grandchildren.
