Jon studied Architecture at Cornell and language acquisition at Toronto Institute of Linguistics. Mary studied Social Work at Philadelphia College of Bible. They spent two terms as missionaries in Indonesia, with a special emphasis on presenting the Gospel in culturally appropriate ways. Jon and Mary find that time in the Word and listening prayer are their strongest motivators. They currently are regular attendees of BG.

The Perrys serve international students at Cornell and Syracuse Universities through Bible studies, hospitality, friendship, and helping with cultural adjustments.
