Ed continues to work on revising the New Testament for the Tagbanwa people in the Philippines. He also is helping the believers to relate Biblical truth to Tagbanwa cultural values and practices in order that cultural transformation may take place and that syncretism may be minimized. There are many cultural values they have inherited from their elders which are compatible with the Scriptures. However, due to unprecedented outside influences, some of these values have become greatly weakened to the point of becoming almost non-existent (e.g., disciplining of children), resulting in very serious problems with seemingly no answers.
