Chuck & Christine Schwarz, Entrust, Pennsylvania

Chuck directs the ENTRUST-Russia team in designing and leading projects of systematic theological education and ministry training for leaders of Russian churches and mission organizations. He works in partnership with indigenous church leadership training through Moscow Theological Institute (5 affiliates in “European” Russia), Surgut Biblical Institute (1 center in northwest Siberia), Better Equipping the Saints through Training (5 centers in “European” Russia), Biblical Leadership Training Center (12 centers in northern Caucasus, Tatarstan, Arctic Circle), National Women’s Training Project (27 centers across all Russia). Christine contributes expertise in educational theory, applied linguistics, cross-cultural communication and research. Christine is an adjunct faculty member in the Education Department at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Chuck envisions that by the year 2020 these networks will cover all 89 governmental regions of Russia. Through them at least 2,000 new servant-leaders of growing, healthy, multiplying churches will be trained. This will fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ among all of the people groups living within the borders of the largest nation on earth.
