• Preschool (3-5 years) Available during both hours
  Children learn Bible truths through illustrated stories, activities, games, crafts, and songs.

• Kindergarten
  Children discover the big picture of Biblical history through role plays, team-building activities, and basic Bible studies.

• 1st Grade
  Children study The 10 Commandments, The Lord’s Prayer, and The Fruit of the Spirit (this is part one of character development).

• 2nd Grade
  By studying God's attributes children are encouraged to develop character traits such as courage, faithfulness, forgiveness (this is part two of character development).

• 3rd Grade
  This class highlights the life of Jesus and significant events in the Acts through dramatic readings, crafts, and small group work. Key components include opportunities to respond to the Gospel, living like Jesus, and learning about Christian community.

• 4th & 5th Grade
  Children learn about the key characters and events of the Old Testament through drama, reading, and dsicussion. Attention given to practical applications for everyday living.

• Bethel Grove is committed to encouaging and teaching children to worship and serve God. Our Children's Church is composed of many elements include praise, prayer, offering, devotional, scripture memory/application, small groups, and large group activities. Children's church (10:45am) meets in the 3rd - 5th Grade Classroom (see map).

SPRING MUSICAL (2008):

Each year, the third through eighth grade students of Bethel Grove come together to minister to the church body and Ithaca community by performing a musical. In past years we have prepared for this with rehearsals sometimes during the Sunday School hour and sometimes after the second service. This year we are prayerfully considering the best time to have rehearsals in light of the overall vision, values, and objectives of Promiseland. No time has yet to be determined. We will keep you posted and provide you with rehearsal information as soon as a decision has been made.
