PROMISELAND is what we affectionately call our ministry to children and families at BG.  Each month, more than 80 adults and college students volunteer their time and energy to nurture, train, and teach the children of BG. Our vision is simple: to help parents disciple children for God's glory. To accomplish this we offer a full schedule of quality childcare, creative classes, and interesting activities on Sunday mornings during both the 9:00am and 10:45am worship hours.

THE BIG PICTURE

LOVE the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Matthew 22:34-40.

In order to reflect God’s greatest commandment, we endeavor to provide:

• A physical environment that is safe, child-friendly, and attractive

• Policies for the selection, screening and supervision of all who work directly with the children

• Opportunities for adults to use their gifts to support and serve

• Training and workshops for the children’s ministry volunteers

• Enthusiastic teachers who motivate children to learn and apply God’s truth

• A Sunday school curriculum that is Bible-based, age-appropriate, relevant, and fun (9.00am)

• A Children's Church that encourages children to worship God and serve other people (10.45am)
