PROMISELAND is our Sunday morning Children's Ministry . If you would like to serve occasionally during one of the services, contact Jessica Morgan, 273-3333, Ext. 222 or e-mail: jessica@bg.org.

Volunteers Needed - The Middle School and High School groups are in need of some college students and adults to work with them in the youth ministry. Do you have a heart for teenagers? There are a variety of needs and ways in which you can serve. Some are up front and some behind the scenes. Presently, we will need some folks to help with the Middle School Sunday School Class and the High School Sunday School Class. We are also in need of volunteers to help with youth group meetings on Wednesday nights with the Middle School and Sunday nights with the High School. Please prayerfully consider your involvement in this crucial and fun ministry! Call Eric to get more information at the office (277-3333) or at home (256-1424) or via email at eric@bg.org.

Young Life in Tompkins County provides an excellent opportunity for college students in the area to experience an exciting outreach to middle and high school students as well as great fellowship with other volunteer leaders. Prior experience with Young Life is helpful but definitely not mandatory! For general information about Young Life, go to their website at www.rso.cornell.edu/younglife. If you feel as if God is calling you to take a step of faith in this direction, please contact Louie Rudin at lpr4@cornell.edu, or 592-0931.

Visiting the Elderly  For the senior confined at home or in an assisted living environment, life can be tedious and lonely.  A new person to talk to or someone to play a game of chess with can be a wonderful blessing. If you would like to be introduced to one of our seniors to become a part of their support team, contact the church office (277-3333).

Ithaca Pregnancy Center  This CARE-NET affiliated crisis pregnancy center www.pregnancycenters.org  provides an important service in the Ithaca community. Some important ways to be involved: helping in the office, volunteering to assist with special events, joining the "Choices Matter!" teams to visit area high schools presenting an abstinence message through humor and drama.  If interested, please contact Rhonda Mapes at 273-4673 or hope@ithacapregnancy.com.
